UREFLEX® is extending its offer to include a new certified food grade material. UREFLEX® TM Blue is specifically defined to resist microorganisms, hydrolysis and wet abrasion. It meets the compliance criteria for contact with all types of foodstuffs, both solid and liquid (meat, cereals, oil, milk, wine, etc.).

This innovation ensures reliable, traceable production processes for our clients, that comply with current hygiene standards. It supports food manufacturers in their commitment to provide efficient and sustainable solutions.

After the drinking water certifications, the international food certifications


UREFLEX® TM Bleu is certified according to the drinking water regulations:

  • CSC (Certificate of Sanitary Compliance). This official French accreditation is issued by an accredited laboratory for materials and products intended to be in contact with drinking water. (EXSTO approval N°: 17 MAT NY 139)
  •  WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme).  This official British accreditation is issued by an accredited laboratory for materials and products intended to be in contact with drinking water. (EXSTO approval N°: 2109539)

It is also certified according to food regulations:

 

  • Food contact. European regulation which specifically defines "plastic" materials intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. (EU 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011)
  • FDA (Food and Drug Administration). American regulation that specifically defines polymers intended to be in contact with foodstuffs. (CFR 21, PART.177.2600)
